Girl Scout Programs

We have programs for all levels of Girl Scouts. All Girl Scout programs include a special tour of the Susan B. Anthony House, uniquely designed for each program, along with activities in our Carriage House.

Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Make your reservations early by submitting an online request.

You may also make a reservation by contacting our Program Director, Annie Callanan, at 585/235-6124 x19 or via email. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

Daisy Petals: “Courageous & Strong” or “Make the World a Better Place”
Earn the “Courageous & Strong” or the “Make the World a Better Place” Daisy Petal during this 1 1/2 hour program. Imagine yourselves back in time! Learn about Susan B. Anthony, a courageous & strong woman, who did indeed make the world a better place for all of us! You can, too!

Fee: $6 per person
Minimum/Maximum: 10/20
Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Brownies: “Celebrating Community” Badge
Earn the complete “Celebrating Community” badge in this 2-hour program. Create a song. March in a parade. Experience a special tour of Susan B. Anthony’s house. Celebrate “girl power”.

Fee/Scout: $11.50 per person (Badge included)
Fee/Adult: $10.00 per person
Minimum/Maximum: 10/20

Juniors: Bronze Inspiration
This program is designed to inspire Junior Girls Scouts to go for their Girl Scout Bronze Award. A special tour of Susan B. Anthony’s house is followed by an interactive program that helps girls find what they care about in their communities and to create ideas and strategies for Take Action Projects to benefit their communities. A Certificate of Inspiration is awarded to each participant. A Community Resources packet is included for each troop.

Susan B. Anthony Patch Program for Juniors
Earn the complete patch with a special tour, visit to the “Let’s Have Tea” statue in the nearby park, and a look at the awe-inspiring architecture in this wonderfully restored 19th century neighborhood. Continue your journey back in time with fun, period activities in the Carriage House. Play a 19th century game, participate in skits, and explore ideas. Decide what makes a good leader and who the role models are in your life today. Learn about the life and work of this famous American hero and the Women’s Rights Movement.

Fee/Girl: $12.00 per person (Patch included)
Fee/Adult: $10.00 per person

Susan B. Anthony Patch Program for Cadettes/Seniors
Earn the complete patch with a special tour, visit to the “Let’s Have Tea” statue in the nearby park, and a look at the awe-inspiring architecture in this wonderfully restored 19th century neighborhood. Cadettes: Silver Inspiration
This program is designed to inspire the Cadette Girl Scouts planning their Girl Scout Silver Award Take Action Project. A uniquely designed tour of Susan B. Anthony’s house is followed by a brainstorming workshop that inspires the girls to imagine meaningful Silver Take Action Project possibilities. The girls learn leadership skills and communication strategies as they create an example of how to put the Girl Scout Promise & Law into a successful Take Action Project. A Certificate of Inspiration is awarded to each participant. A Community Resources packet is included for each troop.

Senior/Ambassador: Gold Inspiration
This program is designed to help Senior/Ambassador Girl Scouts brainstorm topics and create strategies for Girl Scout Gold Award Take Action Projects. A uniquely designed toured of the Susan B. Anthony House is followed by a brainstorming workshop that inspires the girls to imagine meaningful and sustaining Gold Take Action Project possibilities. The girls learn leadership skills and communication strategies as they create an example of how to put the Girl Scout Promise & Law into a successful Take Action Project that has global impact. A Certificate of Inspiration is awarded to each participant. A Community Resources packet is included for each troop.

Cub & Boy Scout Programs

Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge
