Come on board for Friends trip to Auburn & Sherwood NY

Travel with Friends of Susan B. Anthony House on Wednesday, May 18. We are bound for history-laden Auburn and suffrage-memorabilia haven Sherwood. We’ll visit the home of Lincoln’s Secretary of State William H. Seward, learn about his role in the purchase of Alaska, and the attempt on his life when Lincoln was assassinated. Along the way we’ll have a box lunch at an historic church. We’ll tour Harriet Tubman’s home and discover underground railroad history. We’ll see the largest suffrage-memorabilia collection in the country at the Howland Stone Museum and learn more about regional Quaker history.
