appoints new executive director

 

Rochester, NY—Patrice Sampson-Bouchard has been appointed new executive director of the Susan B. Anthony House, having served the organization as interim executive director since July.

Linda G. Gillim, chair of the board of trustees, made the announcement, saying that the search committee and executive committee agreed that Patrice demonstrated the leadership, organizational skills, enthusiasm, and spirit of co-operation they were seeking in the executive position.

In accepting the permanent position, Sampson-Bouchard described her vision for the organization as one that will include teamwork, collaboration, and increased visibility, both in the community and nationwide.

Sampson-Bouchard brings over 20 years of business experience to the position, with expertise in management, finance, information technology, risk and project management, and client advisement. She has been a docent at the Susan B. Anthony House for the past six years and also a representative for the House through its speakers’ bureau. Her community involvement includes service as a board member of Genesee Valley Girl Scouts, and member of the Women’s Rights National Park, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and Perinton Lay Clergy Council. She earned a master’s degree in economics from Trinity College, Hartford, CT and resides in Perinton.
