Scout Programs

Girl Scouts

 ($12 per Scout and $10 per Adult) (Minimum of $60)

We have programs for all levels of Girl Scouts. All Girl Scout programs include a special tour of the Susan B. Anthony House, uniquely designed for each program, along with activities in our Carriage House.

Programs are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Make your reservations early by submitting an online request. Please note that our Girl Scout programs for the 2017-2018 school year are entirely booked.

You may also make a reservation by contacting our programs at 585/235-6124 x1 or via email. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required.

Daisy Scouts: “Courageous & Strong” or “Make the World a Better Place” Petal

  • 1.5-hour program
  • Offered weekdays after-school and occasionally on weekends.

Brownies: “Celebrating Community” Badge

  • 2-hour program includes simple 40 minute tour followed by fun activities in the Carriage House to complete the badge. (Badge included)
  • Sessions are offered after school weekdays.

Inspiration Express

  • 2.5-hour program that draws upon the life and legacy of Susan B. Anthony as inspiration for meaningful community service today.
  • Specific Tour is followed by time in the Carriage House, brainstorming ideas for Take-Action Projects, and then creating a Mock Take-Action Project to use as a model for their own Project.
  • Offered on Saturday and Sundays, and after school on weekdays.

Bronze Inspiration – Junior Scouts ages 8–11. Brainstorming and Planning as the girls imagine working together as a Troop to earn their Bronze Award.

Silver Inspiration – Cadette Scouts ages 12–14. The girls map out effective plans for solutions on their journey toward their Silver Awards.

Gold Inspiration – Senior Scouts ages 15–17. Individual roles and consideration of community resources are highlighted with Girls who are considering going for their Gold Award.


Susan B. Anthony Patch Program for Juniors and Cadettes/Seniors

  • 2-hour program that satisfies all requirements of the Susan B. Anthony Patch.
  • Specific 45-minute tour, and a 15-minute architecture walk to the park, concludes with an hour of activities in the Carriage House connecting Susan B. Anthony’s life with girls’ lives today.
  • Sessions are offered by age level.
  • Sessions are offered on Saturdays and Sundays and after school on weekdays.

Cub & Boy Scout Programs

Cub Scouts

 ($12 per Scout and $10 per Adult) (Minimum of $60)

Bear Cubs – Bear Paws Program

  • 1.5 hours in length
  •  Includes 20-minute tour
  • Sessions are offered on weekday afternoons (or occasionally on weekends if our availability allows)

Boy Scouts

 ($12 per Scout and $10 per Adult) (Minimum of $60)

Citizenship in the Nation Merit Badge

  • 2.5-hour program
  • Specific 50-minute tour
  • Pre-requisites emailed to Scouting Coordinator
  • Merit Badge Counselor on staff authorized to sign Blue Card
  • This program is full for the school year 2017-2018. New dates will be added in September of 2018!
