Doris Kearns Goodwin Press Conference
at Susan B. Anthony House Birthday Luncheon
Rochester, NY—The Susan B. Anthony House announces that Doris Kearns Goodwin will conduct a press conference on Tuesday, February 14, at 11:15 a.m. at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center’s Riverside Lounge. The press conference will take place before the annual Susan B. Anthony birthday luncheon that begins at noon.
Goodwin is a Pulitzer-Prize winning historian, author, and frequent new analyst on National Public Radio and other networks. Her most recent book, Team of Rivals, The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, was released in November and immediately soared to the top of the New York Times bestseller list.
The Susan B. Anthony House shares the story of Susan B. Anthony’s lifelong struggle to gain voting rights for women and equal rights for all. We keep her vision and struggle alive by owning and protecting Anthony’s National Historic Landmark home; collecting artifacts and research materials directly related to her life and work; and making these resources available to the public through tours, publications, educational and interpretive programs, and the Internet.
